SUMMARY:Carved Pumpkin Walk & Contest
DESCRIPTION:This is a Free family friendly fun community event. I am hoping to make it an annual fall event for the community to enjoy!\n\n\n#1- I need pumpkins! I would love to have at least 50 (and preferably more) pumpkins to display for this walk so I am looking for people who are willing to carve (and/or donate) pumpkins for this event. Without more people carving pumpkins it will not be nearly as cool as I am hoping it will be. I can only carve so many myself. \n\n There will be a competition and prizes for the best carved pumpkins with various age groups and categories. If you (and/or your child) can’t carve a pumpkin you’re also welcome to paint or otherwise decorate one however you want. The pumpkins don’t have to be fancy.  There will be cash\, gift card and chocolate prizes for the best pumpkins in each category\, however I would be happy to have more simple carved pumpkins as well for the pumpkin walk.\n\nIf you are already planning to carve pumpkins for Halloween\, I would love for you to bring them to me on Friday the 23rd so I can display them for the walk on the 24th (If you would like to enter a pumpkin in the walk but are unable to get it to me\, I might be able to come pick it up). Then you’re welcome to have them back\, so you can display them for Halloween.\n\n\n#2- On the night of the event\, I would love for people to dress up. In addition to the carved pumpkin contest and pumpkin walk\, I am planning to have trick or treating throughout the walk (with gourmet chocolate\, and non candy options)\, as well as face painting\, a children’s scavenger hunt\, and an adults golden pumpkin hunt (with cash prize)\, and sugar cookie decorating*.\n\nI am starting this event earlier (before dark) for those with younger children who may need to go to bed early. The kids scavenger hunt will start at 4:30 and run until 6:30. I am planning to start the adult pumpkin hunt (with cash prize) around 6-6:30.\n\n\n\n\nAll of these activities will be free to participate in\, I want everyone to come and have a fun night.\n\n\n\nHowever\, if you want to contribute to this event or help out please reach out to me. I could especially use people to carve pumpkins and a few people will be needed to help out with the various activities the night of the event.\n\n\n\n*I will also have other homemade treats available for purchase (i.e. pumpkin cookies\, pumpkin pie\, rice crispy treats\, caramel apples and my artisan chocolates) as well as hot chocolate and apple cider.\n\n\n\nPlease spread the word\, bring your pumpkins for us all to admire\, and come dressed up to enjoy a fun fall night.\n\nNote: if you would like to carve pumpkins with a group\, I am thinking on the 22nd or 23rd I will host a little pumpkin carving get together to work on them.

SUMMARY:Cacao\, Creation & Drum Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Come join a powerful evening of healing\, releasing (with the power of the full moon)\, and creation (utilizing the creative energy of the new moon). This experience is 3 mini ceremonies in one. Depending on group size (6-12 people) this event general takes 2-3hrs. \nFirst we will prepare and sip our Cacao* with intention. Then we will have a mini sound bath with journaling about what you are releasing and creating. Each participant will make a creation jar to take home with them. Then we will have a drum ceremony with everyone will have the opportunity to participate in. Drum ceremonies are different than drum circles. During the drum ceremony we will have a sacred opening and closing and group healing will be offered in the form of energy and sound healing from a powerful 48 in ceremonial Buffalo drum assisted by ancient wisdom and the deep heart healing medicine of ceremonial cacao. \n*Cacao- also commonly know as cocoa it is a more pure form of hot chocolate\, which utilizes more of the plants natural healing and heart opening properties. We will use ceremonial grade Cacao from Ecuador. \nContact Ashlee at 801-836-4176 to register for this event.

SUMMARY:Fused Glass Art Workshop- Retreat Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Come create you own beautiful glass art project. You will get to choose your own project type (basic tack or full fused styles\, or more advanced mosaic fused glass\, and fritography style). Because projects vary so vastly and so does the price of various types and colors of glass\, I have decided to offer a base price for this glass fusing workshop which will cover my instruction\, use of my glass studio and all the tools needed to create your project. \nThen you choose your project and pay for the materials for your project separately. Depending on your work speed and chosen project I would anticipate your project to take 2-4hrs for a very basic fused glass creation style ($80) and at least 4-6 hrs+ to create if you choose to do one of the more advanced types of projects (4-6hrs would be a small 6 in tile size piece) ($125-$250). \nI am offering this as a “drop-in” weekend workshop where you can come and use my studio over the course of a Friday evening and Saturday day for as much time as you need. Friday will be the night to come for the basic fusing instruction and if you want to do more advanced fusing projects plan on Friday night and Saturday. \n+Base price for simple fused glass instruction and a small “basic fused glass” style project (maximum of 6in x 6in) or several small fused glass pieces (i.e. coasters\, jewelry\, etc that take less than a 6 in square in my kiln)\, includes use of the studio and glass tools for up to 3hrs+ one firing (this is about a 13 hr process)=$80. * Glass materials for your project are not included in this base price. \n+Base price for your own private firing of a simple “basic style” fused glass piece (maximum of 12in x 12in) or several smaller basic fused glass pieces that fill one kiln load 12 x 12 in sq)\, this includes up t0 6 hours of studio time + one full kiln firing (this is about a 13 hr process)=$180. * Glass materials for your project are not included in this base price. \n+Base price for a small (up to 6x 6in) more advanced style (i.e. mosaic or fritography) fused glass project instruction\, studio time up to 6hrs and glass tool use= $125.* Glass materials for your project are not included in this base price. \n+Base price for your own private firing of an advanced fused glass piece (maximum of 12in x 12in) or several smaller fused glass pieces that fill one kiln load 12 x 12 in sq)\, this includes up t0 12 hours of studio time + one full kiln firing (this is about a 13 hr process)=$250. * Glass materials for your project are not included in this base price. \nAdd-ons= \n+Additional “open studio” studio time $20/hr \n+Additional Kiln firing $100/load (can be split between multiple people or all for you\, your choice). \n  \nNote: You can come and use my studio “A-la-Carte” if you live locally or you can stay the weekend if you do not live locally. Contact Ashlee 801-836-4176 for available onsite accommodation options and pricing.
